What is in two capsules, and how much?

Copied straight from the label's nutrition and function panel. Per daily serving of 2 capsules (1,030 mg). EPA and DHA have no adult reference value in Korea, so no percentage is shown.

The DHA/EPA split is as stated at the official mall. The fish oil is refined Norwegian fish oil; the capsule is pork gelatin.

How to read these numbers

  • More DHA than EPA. Two capsules a day give 475 mg DHA and 125 mg EPA. Weighting DHA this heavily is uncommon in children's omega-3.
  • The 2025 Dietary Reference Intakes for Koreans set the adequate intake of EPA+DHA at 200 mg a day for ages 3–18.
  • The 3.3 mg of vitamin E is there to slow oxidation of the oil, and it carries an approved claim of its own.

These are the only MFDS-approved claims

The approved wording for each ingredient, exactly as printed on the label. Words like "brain" or "focus" are not in the approved claims, so we do not use them.

Oils containing EPA and DHA

May help improve blood triglyceride levels and blood circulation · may help eye health by improving dry eyes

Vitamin E

Needed to protect cells from free radicals through antioxidant action

Health functional foods are not medicines for the prevention or treatment of disease.

How, and how much?

Once a day, two capsules, chewed. A child who dislikes chewing can swallow them; one who cannot swallow can have the tip snipped and the contents squeezed onto a spoon. Right after a meal is best for absorption.

Three ways to take it

  • Chew — the method on the label. Lemon oil and tropical fruit flavour tone down the fishy taste.
  • Swallow — at 515 mg a capsule is small. Children who can swallow take it with water.
  • Squeeze — snip the tip and squeeze the contents into yoghurt or onto a spoon. For younger children.

When it may be worth considering

  • A child who does not eat fish even once a week
  • A house where adult capsules are too big to swallow
  • If the child already takes another omega-3 or a DHA product, check the total first

A supplement does not replace meals. It is made so a child can keep getting DHA and EPA even on days without fish.

Frequently Asked Questions

From what age?

There is no legal minimum age. Before the first birthday, breast milk or formula is the standard; after that, how much fish the child eats is the better guide. For a child who cannot yet chew or swallow a capsule, the contents can be squeezed out.

Can it be taken together with CalMagD K2?

Yes. The two products share no nutrients. Omega-3 right after a meal, CalMagD K2 with whichever meal the child never skips. If other brands are in the mix too, check the totals with the Wooathing app's supplement analysis.

Does it taste fishy?

Lemon oil and fruit-flavour powder tone it down, and swallowed whole it is barely noticeable. Chewed, a little of the fish-oil taste remains. Children differ, so start with one capsule.

Is it a medicine?

No. It is a health functional food, not a medicine for the prevention or treatment of disease. We describe it only within the functional claims the MFDS has approved for its ingredients.

Giving more than one supplement?

Register the products in the Supplements menu of the Wooathing app and it adds up nutrients that overlap easily against the Korean Dietary Reference Intakes.
