Wooakle Oreum Kids CalMagD K2 stick packs and the gel squeezed into a small dish. One stick: 210 mg calcium, 105 mg magnesium, 25 µg vitamin D, 50 µg vitamin K This is the gel that comes out of the stick

What is in one stick, and how much?

Copied straight from the label's nutrition and function panel. Per stick (20 g); the percentage is against the Korean adult daily reference value. That is not a child's requirement, so read it together with the "daily calcium" bars below.

NutrientPer stick (20 g)% reference
Calcium210 mg30%
Magnesium105 mg33%
Vitamin D25 µg (1,000 IU)250%
Vitamin K50 µg71%
Energy35 kcal–
Carbohydrate9 g3%
Sugars4 g4%
Sodium10 mg1%

Protein 0 g, fat 0 g. Vitamin K is supercritical-extracted vitamin K2 (MK-7), calcium is calcium citrate, magnesium is magnesium gluconate.

How to read these numbers

  • Vitamin D 250% is calculated against the adult reference (10 µg). How much a child may take in a day depends on age; see the questions below.
  • 210 mg of calcium is a little over a third of the daily RDA for ages 3–5 (550 mg). Calcium is not put in on its own: vitamin D, needed for the absorption and use of calcium and phosphorus, goes into the same stick with magnesium and vitamin K.

These are the only MFDS-approved claims

The approved wording for each ingredient, exactly as printed on the label. If a benefit is not here, we do not claim it either.

Vitamin D

Health functional foods are not medicines for the prevention or treatment of disease.

How, and how much?

Once a day, one stick, chewed. Morning or evening does not matter; tie it to the meal your child never skips. Studies suggest calcium is absorbed better with food, so at our house it comes right after breakfast.

How much of a day's calcium does one stick cover?

One stick (210 mg) against the calcium RDA in the 2025 Dietary Reference Intakes for Koreans (Ministry of Health and Welfare, Korean Nutrition Society).

3–5 yrs
38%
6–8 yrs
30%
9–11 yrs
26%

RDA: 550 mg at 3–5, 700 mg at 6–8, 800 mg at 9–11. The rest comes from food: milk, cheese, yoghurt, dried anchovies. A supplement does not replace meals.

When it may be worth considering

  • A child who barely drinks milk and does not eat cheese or yoghurt either
  • A house where powders and tablets get spat out. A gel stick is taken like a snack
  • If the child already takes vitamin D, check first that the total stays under the child's upper limit

A supplement does not replace meals. Next to the calcium a child gets from food, it adds the vitamin D, magnesium and K2 that go with it, in one stick a day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 250% vitamin D too much?

The 250% is calculated against the Korean adult daily reference value (10 µg). One stick contains 25 µg (1,000 IU). The 2025 Dietary Reference Intakes for Koreans set the tolerable upper intake level for vitamin D at 30 µg for ages 1-2, 35 µg for 3-5, 40 µg for 6-8 and 60 µg for 9-11. One stick stays under those, but at ages 1-2 the margin is only 5 µg, so if your child also takes a probiotic or multivitamin containing vitamin D, add the totals first.

Can it be taken with other supplements?

Yes, as long as the total of any overlapping nutrient stays under the upper limit for the child's age. Vitamin D and magnesium overlap most often. The accurate way is to lay out everything the child takes and add up each nutrient; if that is a chore, the Wooathing app's supplement analysis adds them up against the same reference table and flags any excess (for Wooakle customers). It does not replace a doctor's or pharmacist's judgement.

From what age?

The label does not state a minimum age. It is a chewable gel, so the child should be able to chew and swallow on their own; before the first birthday, breast milk or formula comes first.

Is it a medicine?

No. It is a health functional food, not a medicine for the prevention or treatment of disease. We describe it only within the functional claims the MFDS has approved for its ingredients.

Giving more than one supplement?

Register the products in the Supplements menu of the Wooathing app and it adds up nutrients that overlap easily, such as vitamin D and magnesium, against the Korean Dietary Reference Intakes.
